Getting Started
NEW TO PEPTIDES? START HERE
First time? It's simpler than it looks. Your compound arrives as a freeze-dried powder — you reconstitute it with bacteriostatic (BAC) water (a quick step), and you're set. Plenty of our customers started here knowing very little. Take your time, and reach out anytime — we're always happy to walk you through it.
DO I NEED BAC WATER? HOW DO I MIX IT?
Yes — compounds ship as a freeze-dried powder, so they're reconstituted with bacteriostatic (BAC) water before use. Most add 2–3 mL of BAC water to the vial, swirl gently (don't shake) until fully dissolved, then store it in the fridge. The exact amount depends on the concentration you're going for. We carry BAC water right alongside the compounds, so you can grab both in one order.
WHAT DO I NEED TO GET STARTED?
Three things: the compound itself, BAC water to reconstitute it (we carry it), and insulin syringes to draw and measure (most researchers source these locally or online). Add the BAC water to your order and you'll have everything in one shipment.
HOW DO I STORE IT?
Before mixing: keep the sealed vial cool, dry, and out of direct light. After reconstituting with BAC water: store it in the refrigerator, where it stays stable for several weeks.

WHAT ARE RESEARCH COMPOUNDS?
Research compounds are chemical substances used by qualified researchers in laboratory and in-vitro studies. They are intended for scientific research only — not for human consumption, diagnosis, or treatment.
ARE YOUR COMPOUNDS TESTED FOR PURITY?
Yes. Every batch is independently tested by accredited third-party laboratories using HPLC, mass spectrometry, and endotoxin testing. Certificates of Analysis are available on every product page and included with every order.
WHAT IS YOUR PURITY STANDARD?
All Vital Chems compounds meet a minimum 99% purity standard, verified by HPLC. Many batches exceed 99.5%. Exact purity is reported on each batch's COA.
HOW SHOULD I STORE MY COMPOUNDS?
Most lyophilized compounds are stable at room temperature for weeks, but for long-term storage we recommend refrigeration (2–8°C). Once reconstituted, refrigerate and use within 30 days. Specific guidance is included with every order.

WHAT IS YOUR SHIPPING POLICY?
Orders placed before 1:30 PM PST ship the same business day via tracked, discreet packaging. US shipping is a $9.99 flat rate, free on orders over $100. Free international shipping on orders over $250. Tracking link is emailed when your order leaves the lab.
DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
Yes. We ship globally with tracked carriers. International orders over $250 ship free. You are responsible for any import duties or local taxes that may apply.
WHAT PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept Venmo, PayPal, Zelle, Card, and Crypto — with 5% off when you pay by Venmo or Crypto. After placing your order you'll see clear payment instructions — include your order number in the memo so we can match the payment, then we ship out same day.
WHEN WILL MY ORDER ARRIVE?
US orders typically arrive within 2–5 business days. International delivery is 7–14 business days depending on destination and customs. You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships.
WHAT IS YOUR REFUND POLICY?
If your order arrives damaged or you have a quality issue, email support@vitalchems.co within 7 days of delivery and we will replace or refund. Due to the nature of research compounds, we cannot accept returns of opened or used product unless there's a quality issue.
